Park Avenue Wednesday Suppers
We are still in need of leaders and helpers to prepare our Park Avenue Wednesday Suppers. If you can help and are willing to serve in this way contact Shelly Calvert.
Let’s Get Acquainted Lunch
If you are a new member or have been visiting with us we would like to invite you to join us for a home made lunch after worship free of charge next Sunday, August 18th immediately after worship service in the Family Life Center. This is a great way for you to get to know our elders, ministers and their families.
Back to School Prayers
It’s getting close to school time again and we want to lift up our schools and students in prayer. There will be two opportunities to do this. There will be a community prayer gathering tonight, Sunday, August 11 at 7:00 pm beginning at Heritage Park in downtown Denison and then dispersing to the individual school campuses. Then our Wednesday night August 14 meeting at 6:30 PM here in the Family Life Center will be dedicated to offering prayers for our schools, school educators and students (including home school educators and students). Join us for either or both of these events.
SAMPACC Game Night
You are invited to join the senior adult ministry on Monday, August 19th at 6:00 p.m. in the Atrium for a game night. Bring a finger food to share and come enjoy some fellowship and fun! Please sign up ahead of time on the app or at pacoc.net so we know how many to prepare for.
Wednesday Nights in August
Join us the next 3 Wednesday nights in August for our PAWS meal at 5:15pm followed by our Back to School Prayer on August 14, a Movie Night on August 21 and our Minister’s Cook Off on August 28th (no PAWS). All events begin at 6:30m except our Minister’s Cook Off that will begin at 6:00pm.
New Sunday Morning Bible Class
There will be a new adult Bible class for younger adults this fall beginning on Sunday, September 8th from 9:00-9:45 in the Youth Suite. Greg Clay will be leading a study on 1 Peter. There will be a class for children during this time for those parents attending Bible class.

SUMMER 2024
What a summer we have had! I can’t believe it has already come to an end, but so thankful for how God worked through our students and adults. I want to share just a few things with you. It began with Boles Mission Trip at the end of May and we were able to serve many on Boles Campus. We then had Sewing and Cooking Classes organized by several of our ladies here at Park Avenue. What a blessing they are to share their talents with our young people. We then had Middle School and High School Days where we served and also had some fun! Then we had Camp Horizon at Oklahoma Christian where 37 students and 9 adults participated. We had a great week and 6 students committed their life to Christ through baptism. Our Youth Interns then planned a fantastic Mystery Trip to Freeplay Arcade, Frisco Rough Riders, and Burgers Lake. Then we ended the summer with two weeks of Christian Theater Workshop! So thankful for Kathy Pryor, Janaga Trotter, and Kenna Brandt for organizing and leading the day camp and performances. Thank you for all your support, prayers, and help this Summer! We couldn’t have done it without you! Tyler Cope, Youth Minister
