Trunk ‘n Treat Today!
The candy has been collected, the trunks decorated, and the day has arrived for our annual Trunk ‘n Treat! Come and bring your neighbors to celebrate the fall season with candy, hotdogs, Kona ice, bounce houses, games and more, tonight from 5-7 PM.
We are confident that this will be a fun evening, rain or shine! We will move the event inside the ARK in case of bad weather.
Operation Christmas Child
It is time again for Operation Christmas Child! Our 5th and 6th graders have been hard at work assembling 400 boxes.
Every year, people prayerfully fill shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and personal care items for children in need around the world.
These special boxes are joyfully received by boys and girls from 2-14 years old, often as their first gift ever! Pick up a shoebox this Sunday, and let’s see what God will do this year as we seek to bring Him glory through this project. Please return your filled boxes by November 19.
Gifting Tree for The Catteau’s
If you have gift cards or notes of encouragement for the Catteau’s, please place them on the tree in the atrium today, October 29th.
Elementary Christmas Play
To celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas season, the elementary grades (1-6) will present a small 30 minute production called T’was the Night Before Christmas on Wednesday, December 20 at 7 p.m. Rehearsals will be 3 Wednesdays prior to the performance. The Registration deadline is this Wednesday, November 1. Register online at pacoc.net/Christmas
Rise Up Men’s Conference
Registration has begun for the Rise Up Men’s Conference on Friday, December 1st! This year will be a one-night only event with guest speaker Chris Seidman, author and lead minister of the Branch Church in Farmer’s Branch. Register today!

Fortify Family Retreat
All families are invited to come have a fun weekend with your Park Avenue families at Fortify Family Retreat! Enjoy family worship time, s’mores, devotionals, family walk and talk, and parent rap sessions at a beautiful camp on Lake Texoma. This year Fortify will be next weekend, November 4-5, from 10 AM Saturday to Sunday afternoon. The cost is $5 per person or $20 per family. You can register online at pacoc.net/fortify

Let’s Get Acquainted Luncheon
We will have a luncheon for new members and visitors on Sunday, November 12 immediately after worship. This is a great opportunity to meet our Elders and Ministers and their families.
Chili Cook Off
Denison Soup Kitchen is hosting a Chili Cook Off on Friday November 10th at 6:00 p.m. Entry is $25 per person, age 12 and under is $5. There will be a Dessert Auction, Door Prizes and Raffle. For more details contact 903-814-4587 or 903-816-4099.
Park Avenue Wednesday Supper
Join us this Wednesday for our PAWS meal at 5:15PM. We will be having French Onion Chicken Casserole, Green Beans, Rolls, Salad Bar, Dessert. There will be Chicken Nuggets and Fruit for the kids. Vegan and Vegetarian Options are also available. The meal will be prepared by Shelly Calvert and her team.
