Youth Ministry
  • Sunday, October 8th: Connect from 5-7:30pm in the gym! Dinner will be provided!
  • Wednesday, October 11th: Fields of Faith at Denison High School. We will take a bus leaving at 6:10pm and returning by 8pm.

Online Picture Directory
There are still appointments available this Wednesday, October 11th and also next Sunday, October 15th. To encourage everyone to participate we will be giving every family a free 5x7 photo.  You can find the link on the website or app or call the church office and Joan can set you up an appointment. Pictures are being taken in Room A at the north west side of the main building. 
 
Man Alive
This coming Saturday, October 14 is our next Man Alive. Join us for breakfast at 8 a.m. in the Family Life Center. Paul Waggoner and Kirk Pendergrass will be speaking about the jail ministry.
 
Gifting Tree for The Catteau’s
We want to shower Todd and Henriann with either money or gift cards from Walmart, Amazon, Target and Old Navy along with encouraging notes on their return, to welcome Purich to our church family.  We have a tree in the atrium with cards and envelopes to write a note if you wish, and attach your gift to the tree. 
 
Rise Up
Mark your calendars now for the Rise Up Men’s Conference on Friday, December 1st!  This year Rise Up will be a one-night-only event with guest speaker Chris Seidman, author and lead minister of the Branch Church in Farmer’s Branch.  Registration will kick off next Sunday, October 15, with free t-shirts for those who register by October 18. Get ready to register next Sunday!
 
Collecting Candy
Trunk ‘n Treat is coming up on Sunday, October 29 from 5-7pm.  We are expecting a great turnout from the community and want to be prepared with plenty of candy!  Candy donations will be collected in the bins in the lobbies.  You can also volunteer your trunk for the event at pacoc.net/tnt
 
Family Fun Time
All families are invited to come have a fun weekend with your Park Avenue families at Fortify Family Retreat! Enjoy family worship time, s’mores, devotionals, family walk and talk, and parent rap sessions at a beautiful camp on Lake Texoma.  This year, Fortify will be November 4-5, from 10AM Saturday afternoon. The costs is $5 per person or $20 per family.  You can register online at pacoc.net/fortify
 
Elementary Christmas Play
To celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas season, the elementary grades (1-6) will present a small 30 minute production called T’was the Night Before Christmas on Wednesday, December 20 at 7:00 p.m.  Rehearsals will be the 3 Wednesdays prior to the performance.  Register online at pacoc.net/Christmas.  The registration deadline is Wednesday, November 1.
 
Park Avenue Wednesday Supper
Join us this Wednesday for our PAWS meal at 5:15PM. We will be having Creamy AuGratin Potatoes with Ham & Cheese, Broccoli, Carrots, Bread, Salad Bar, Fresh Fruit, & Dessert (Orange Cake & Chocolate Chip Cookies.  Vegetarian Option: Vegetable Soup Kids Option:  Cheese Ravioli with Marinara Sauce.   The meal will be prepared by Kathy Hitchcock and her team.
