TODD'S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our worship. It is good to have everyone with us in person today and we are glad to have those of you who are joining us online.
This morning I am starting a series of sermons through the book of Exodus. What an amazing story of God’s ongoing work through the family of Abraham as He continues to fulfill the promises made to the patriarch to make his descendants a great nation and through that nation to bless all the people of the world. This story of the Exodus is one that has been retold innumerable times by the Jewish people and is a foundational story in understanding God’s ongoing work in the world through the deliverance of Christ. I’m looking forward to our journey through this pivotal book.
As we lead into our Grace Offering on April 17 we will be starting 21 days of prayer and fasting on March 27 going through Easter. We encourage all members to join in these 21 days we are calling You+1, an initiative to help increase our level of awareness about the need to invite others into a relationship with Jesus by serving one. This will be a time of individual and group prayer, fasting, and focusing on "one" that we can pray for and reach out to as we seek to grow The Kingdom in Texoma and beyond. Be looking for more details on how to join prayer times and a special day of 24-hour prayer on April 14.
So glad to have everyone with us as we celebrate our God and renew our commitment to living a kingdom life. A special welcome to our guests. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about Park Avenue or your relationship with God.
