Sympathy’s
Our sympathy is with Barbara Garland and her family in the passing of Doug Garland on Saturday, October 22. Doug & Barbara Garland are former members of PACOC. Services will be held at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne on Saturday, October 29 at 10:30 AM.
 
Our condolences are also with the family of Jesse McKean, former member at PACOC, who passed away on October 23.  Jesse is the brother-in-law of Bettye Henry. A family night will be at Fisher Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27 from 5-7 PM.  Graveside services will be held Friday, October 28 at 10 AM at Fairview Cemetery in Denison.
 
Trunk ‘n Treat 
Join us this Sunday, October 30 from 5-7 PM for a Trunk ‘n Treat. We are still collecting candy! If you are able to bring candy please place wrapped candy in the bins at the front entrances.
 
80th Birthday Invitation
Jim Scroggins is celebrating his 80th birthday at Golden Corral on Saturday, November 5 from 2-5 PM. Come by and get yourself something to eat and help him celebrate this special occasion. He would love for you to sit with him and wish him a happy birthday. Cake and drinks will be served. 
 
Ark Use
The Ark is a busy place and sometimes we find the kitchen or gym double-booked. We encourage use of the Ark but ask that you please schedule any use of the Ark through the Church office in order to avoid any conflict. Thank you.

Operation Christmas Child

Youth Ministry

  • October 26th: Come for dinner from 5:15-6:15. The youth room doors open at 6, and we will continue our series on Ruth at 6:30!
  • October 30th: No Connect but please come serve at Trunk N Treat! See your connect group leaders for more details!
  • November 5th: Family night at the Cope’s! Come for dinner and an out door movie! Guys bring a side dish and girls bring a dessert! We will provide the main course.
  • November 6th: We will have a Spring Break Ski Trip meeting at 5pm in the youth room (for the ski trip March 13-17)!

 
Coffee & Donut Fellowship
Come early on Sunday mornings to enjoy coffee, donuts, and fellowship, starting at 9:15 AM in the Atrium.
 
Fortify Family Retreat
Families with kids of all ages: come have a fun weekend with our Park Avenue family! Enjoy family worship time, bonfire, s’mores, devotionals, family walk and talk, and parent rap sessions at a beautiful camp on Lake Texoma. The retreat will be November 12 and 13. We will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, stay overnight, and conclude on Sunday afternoon. Register now at pacoc.net/fortify
