TODD’S TAKE
Welcome to Worship.

Good morning and welcome! We're so glad to be together as a church family today. If you're visiting with us, thank you for being here—we'd love to get to know you.

COVENANT SUNDAY
Today is a special day at PACOC—Covenant Sunday. This is when we call every member to recommit themselves to their personal walk with Christ and to their active participation in our church family. It's a powerful reminder of who we are and an opportunity to renew that identity as we begin a new year.

Each Covenant Sunday, we present a theme for the year ahead. This year's theme is Be The Light—a response to Jesus' call for his followers to let the light that has shined on us shine through us into the lives of others.

Every family will receive a Covenant Stone as a tangible reminder of this challenge. Additionally, we will distribute small flashlights to all our children, from birth through high school, as a visual representation of our theme.

During today's service, we will dismiss the congregation to tables staffed by our elders and ministers along with their wives. There they will distribute the stones.

May God's light shine brightly through us as we enter this new year.

ELDER SELECTION
As we enter 2026, our church begins its three-year elder selection cycle. We invite the entire congregation to prayerfully nominate men who demonstrate the scriptural qualifications for eldership as outlined in the Bible.

Nominations will be accepted from January 18 through February 1. Current elders are automatically considered and do not require nomination.

Before submitting a nomination, we encourage you to speak directly with the individual you wish to nominate. This conversation allows you to offer encouragement and confirm their willingness to serve in this vital leadership position. If you have any questions feel free to contact one of our current elders.

Please join us in prayer throughout this important process.
