Thank You
It is hard to put into words the love that I have felt from y’all after the passing of my dad. Thank you to everyone that visited him, it made his light shine, and thank you for the cards, sweet words, phone calls and most of all the hugs. They meant so much. Thank you also to the women who prepared the meal and for all the acts of love shown to my family. Park Avenue will forever be my home. Love, Ronda Bigham

TODD’S TAKE
Welcome to Worship.
Good morning and welcome! We're so glad to be together as a church family today. If you're visiting with us, thank you for being here—we'd love to get to know you.
With over 10,000 Christmas songs to choose from, "Silent Night" stands out as a timeless classic. But have you ever stopped to consider what this beloved hymn actually teaches us about Jesus? Or the remarkable story of how it came to be?
This morning, we'll explore "Silent Night" from three fascinating perspectives: the profound theological truths packed into its simple lyrics, the surprising circumstances that gave birth to the song (hint: it involved a flood and a broken organ), and the irony of its title—because that night in Bethlehem was anything but silent!
Discover why this carol, written over 200 years ago in a crisis moment, continues to bring peace to millions. Learn how God can create beauty from brokenness and bring calm to your chaos.
Join us as we unwrap the gift of peace that Jesus came to bring—a peace that transcends circumstances and quiets the soul.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Merry Christmas from all the staff at Park Avenue! We appreciate each of you so much. Your support, encouragement, and devotion to the church make it a true delight to serve alongside you. We wish you all the very best for the New Year and look forward to where God leads us together in 2026.
