TODD’S TAKE
Welcome to Worship.

Good morning and welcome! We're so glad to be together as a church family today. If you're visiting with us, thank you for being here—we'd love to get to know you.

This morning we conclude our study of 1 John. We've journeyed through this powerful letter as the apostle—once a simple fisherman—encourages believers navigating difficult times. Surrounded by false teaching and a culture hostile to authentic Christianity, John speaks life-giving truth to these early Christians. Two foundational truths stand out: God is Light and God is Love. As these truths take deeper root in our hearts, they produce the same kind of transformation John himself experienced. His greatest desire is for us to live with absolute confidence—confident that we are loved, forgiven, and called children of God.

In these closing verses, John doubles down on that theme of confidence. We can know with certainty that we are saved. We can know that forgiveness extends not only to us but to all who walk in the light. And we can know that God hears our prayers and is actively working out His purposes. Let's dive into these final verses together.

Attention Men
Register today for our annual Rise Up Men's Conference! Join us Friday, December 5, for a    challenging message from Jonathan Storment, minister of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jonathan is a sought-after speaker at events around the country and will boldly and clearly encourage us to Act Like Men. In addition to the messages, this is a great time to connect with other Christian men and, of course, enjoy a great meal. Register before tomorrow and save $5 off registration. Students, we want you there to begin a lifetime of godly manhood, so we are covering the expense for you. The event will begin at 5:30 and go to about 10. Spread the word, invite a friend, and register today at RiseUpTexoma.com.

A Vision for Our Future
Last Sunday, George Hatfield shared an exciting ten-year vision for PACOC. For more than a century, God has faithfully used this church to share His truth and love throughout our community—and His work continues today. We're confident He's calling us to keep growing and reaching the next generation with the gospel. If you weren't able to be here, visit pacoc.net/vision or speak with one of our elders to learn more. Together, let's honor the faithful legacy of those who came before us by building boldly into the future God has for us.
