Let’s Get Acquainted Luncheon
New members and guests are invited to a luncheon next Sunday, January 19th in the ARK immediately after worship. This is a great opportunity for you to get to know our elders, ministry staff and their families.  
 
Ladies Retreat, April 25-27
Registration is now open for our annual Ladies Retreat at the Prothro Center on Lake Texoma. Becky Brooks will be returning as our speaker. The cost is $125 for overnight retreaters and $75 for day only retreaters. You can register at pacoc.net/ladies

Lady Jacket Breakfasts
We will host our female athletes on January 16, 24, 31 and February 7 again this year. Register to volunteer at pacoc.net/ladyjackets
 
Marriage Getaway
Registration is now open for our marriage getaway. This will be a the Chickasaw Retreat & Conference Center in Sulphur, OK, February 23-25. The cost is $300 per couple. You can register at pacoc.net/marriagegetaway. If you have any questions contact Basil McClure. 

Park Avenue Wednesday Supper
Join us this Wednesday for our PAWS meal at  5:15 PM. We are having  Hamburgers & Hotdogs, Salad Bar & Dessert. The meal will be prepared by Amyee McAlister and her team. Serving starts at 5:15 PM and stops promptly at 6:15 PM.  
 
Youth Ministry

TODD’S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our worship services this morning. 

Welcome to our worship service this morning. If you are a first time guest know that today will be a bit different than a typical Sunday. Today we challenge all our members as we begin a new year to recommit and evaluate their walk with the Lord. If you are a follower of Jesus you are more than welcome to join us in this time of recommitment. Old Testament Israel did this often in the annual feasts they observed. We feel it appropriate as well to take this time to remember in a special way what the Lord has done for us and how blessed we are to be his children. 

We kicked off our Disciple Making Groups this week as we joined together in reading through the Bible in 2025. Many of the groups were at capacity but there are a few groups with some openings and we are always willing to create more DMCs. TODAY IS COVENANT SUNDAY 
Today we will observe our annual Covenant Sunday as we recommit ourselves to the    kingdom of God and our special role as  members of this body, the Park Avenue Church of Christ. After we commit to the   Seven Covenant Statements set before us by the leadership we will collect our Covenant Sunday Stones at the tables set up in the worship center. Our theme this year is from Jesus’ prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane shortly before his crucifixion. Jesus is praying for believers that we all may acknowledge that truth is found in the Word of God.
