TODD’S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our worship service. If you are a guest with us this morning we welcome you and invite you to join in with us as we honor our Creator and Savior.

Happy Easter! What a special day as we celebrate the life changing reality of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The empty tomb is at the center of the Christian message.

This Sunday is also special in that today is our Grace Offering. All our collection today will go to support the outreach ministries of the Park Avenue church—from mission activity in Africa, Mexico, and South America; to providing Bibles to the nations of eastern Europe; to preaching and benevolence right here in Texoma. You can read all about these works at pacoc.net/go. We ask everyone to give generously as we participate in the great work of spreading the good news of the empty tomb and the hope we have in Christ.

Our Grace Offering got off to a great and inspiring start last week as our children overwhelmed Daisy’s Little Red Wagon with the coins they have been collecting throughout the year. Almost $3,500 was collected, all of which will go to telling people about Jesus. How exciting it was to see the wagon overflow! Thanks so much to our kids and families for your outpouring of generosity.

PACOC was out and about last Saturday as we had a couple of dozen members participate in Denison’s Big Event—a community wide service project helping residents with spring cleanup jobs. We helped out 4 households as part of the initiative that drew out over 350 volunteers that served about 50 families. Thanks for your servant hearts!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 21 for our Neighbor Fun Day. Join us after our worship service to enjoy a BBQ lunch, bounce houses, outdoor games, and friendly competitions with prizes!
