TODD'S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our worship services.

Today we continue with "Parishioner's Picks" as we will contemplate the question, “Do believers go to heaven immediately upon death?” Perhaps you have heard and seen different theories, scenarios, and timelines related to the afterlife. I know I have. This morning we will briefly mention those, but, more than that, I hope that you will find strength, joy, and perseverance knowing that in spite of not knowing all the details and timing we do know one thing for sure—through Jesus Christ we have this assurance of an eternal home in heaven with our Creator. I’m always excited to talk about heaven and pray that today’s time in the Word will deepen your confidence in our future and strengthen your commitment in the present to serve the Lord.

This morning our elders will pray over our group headed to Casa de la Esperanza as they serve the children there.

You may have noticed our contributions have been falling consistently under budget. We are grateful for everyone’s generosity but do ask that you consider your giving so we can continue all the good work the Lord has placed before us.
