Wedding Shower
Jacob Powell, son of Kelli Powell and former member of the Park Avenue youth group is getting married in a private ceremony in Nocona, TX on April 22nd to Sadee Styles. They will be making their home in the Las Vegas suburbs.  Please join us to celebrate their upcoming union at a shower in their honor, Sunday, April 16th from 1:30-3:00pm in the atrium. They are registered at  Amazon and Target.
 
Ladies Class
Thana Furr is leading a new study in Room C on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM. The study will be based on her book, The Amazing Power of a Woman.
 
New DMC
Are you ready to grow in your faith and have meaningful spiritual friendships? Join a new Disciple Making Community that will be hosted by Les & Kathy Hitchcock starting April 16th. You can join the group on the church app or at pacoc.net/groups
 
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is still accepting folks for the men’s step study at Joshua’s Crossing on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30. Contact Paul Waggoner for more information.

Pickleball
A group of young at heart women have recently started playing Pickleball on Monday mornings from 10:00-12:00 in the Ark. If you would like to play come join us!

CASA Mission Trip Meeting
There will be a lunch and informational meeting on Sunday, April 30 immediately after worship in the Ark for anyone interested in going on the mission trip to CASA June 30 through July 8.
 
Daisy’s Little Red Wagon
We are so blessed by the generous hearts of our kids at Park Avenue! Last Sunday an incredible $2,793 was collected, all of which will go towards local and global outreach efforts to help spread God's Kingdom here and all over the world.
 
Park Avenue Wednesday Supper
Join us this Wednesday for our PAWS meal at 5:15PM. We will be having Chicken Fajitas, Beans, Rice, Salad & Dessert.  The meal will be prepared by Jim Russell and his team.
 

TODD'S TAKE

Raised is the word of the day! Today we celebrate that Jesus is raised from the dead. We are so glad that you are with us this morning as we worship God in song, petition His presence in prayer, find strength in our fellowship, remember Jesus’ death as we take the Lord’s Supper, and celebrate his resurrection in the sermon time.
 
The Lord’s Supper is open to all who have gathered to honor Jesus. Instead of passing the trays, we have prepackaged communion sets available at the welcome centers and on tables at the rear of the worship center. Please pick one up as you enter.
 
For our guests with children, around 10:45 we will dismiss our kids to their classes while the adults stay in the worship center for the sermon.  Parents, you are welcome to escort your kids to their classes or your kids are welcome to stay in the worship center with you.

Today’s Grace Offering contribution will be fully dedicated to the outreach ministries of the Park Avenue Church which include:
 
· Supporting mission points in Mexico,
· Colombia, and Togo
· Printing and distribution of Bibles in Eastern Europe
· Bible translation efforts
· Assisting with financial needs of our church members and community
· Funding for the Barnabas Center food pantry
· Ministering to Grayson College students
· Assisting the Turning Point ministry in Durant
· Help funding for PACOC members on mission trips to Mexico and Togo
· Community outreach events sponsored by PACOC
