Sympathy   

Our sympathy is with Brett Newton and his family after the passing of his mother, Rosie Newton on August 10th. Services were held earlier today at Durant Church of Christ.

Mary Martha Class

The Mary Martha Class, a woman’s Bible study that meets on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 AM in the Atrium, will resume on September 10th. The theme this year is Cultivating Inward Beauty Through the Word.  The class will be led by Judith Nevil.

PAWS & Praise Night

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, August 27th.  We will have our PAWS meal at the regular time of 5:15 PM followed by a time of praise in the Worship Center at 6:30 PM. 

 

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Our Thanksgiving Food Drive will begin Sunday August 31st and will run through September 28th.  This will assist the Barnabas Food Pantry as they prepare to hand out Thanksgiving boxes over the Thanksgiving holiday.  Tabs will be available in the atrium nearer the time for you to go ahead and grab a tab or two to help us stock our pantry!  Items needed are: Cake Mix, Cake Icing, Canned Corn, Canned Green Beans, Canned Peas, Cranberry Sauce, Mashed Potatoes (small boxes), Stuffing Mix or Cornmeal.
