Ark Celebration
We will celebrate after worship this morning with a meal in the Family Life Center.
 
Coffee & Donut Fellowship
Come early on Sunday mornings to enjoy coffee, donuts, and fellowship, starting at 9:15 AM in the Atrium.
 
Pickle Ball
We have a group meeting up in the ARK on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 for Pickle Ball. Come join us for the fun and exercise. We do have a few extra paddles if you don’t have your own. All levels of expertise are welcome!
 
Food Handler’s Course
There will be a Food Handler's Course on Tuesday, October 11 at 6 PM in the Youth Common Room in the  ARK. Please contact Shelly Calvert if you plan on attending the class.  This class is open for anyone that uses the kitchen.

Operation Christmas Child
Flight 56 will be launching this year’s Operation Christmas Child next Sunday, October 9.  Shoeboxes will be available next Sunday.

Trunk ‘n Treat
Trunk ‘n Treat is coming up on Sunday October 30 from 5-7 PM. We are looking for volunteers to volunteer their trunk and also seeking candy donations. Please bring wrapped candy and place in the receptacles at the front entrances. 
 
Park Avenue Wednesday Supper
This week we are having a Meatloaf, Green Beans, Potatoes, Rolls, Salad Bar, & Dessert. The meal will be prepared by The Calvert Team.  Sign up on your communication card Sunday morning to let us know if you plan to attend so we can plan  accordingly! 
 
 
TODD'S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our worship service. A special welcome to our guests. If you have any questions about Park Avenue or Christianity in general, feel free to track one of our ministers or elders down or contact us any time.
 
This morning we will continue series, The  Bible—Wonderful Words of Life. One goal of this series is to help us all fall in love with the Word of God and make reading it a daily discipline in our lives. In the Bible we have the words of life from the very One who created us!
 
ARK CELEBRATION - TODAY!
Today is a special day for the Park Avenue Church as we celebrate what God has done through us. Today’s celebration is not really about a building or a mortgage—it is about a group of people called by God who have dedicated themselves to the truth that God   exists, the truth that God has provided for us spiritually through Christ, the truth that God has formed a community of believers to encourage one another, and the truth that God uses us to communicate that good news to the world around us. The building we call The Ark and the money we have all sacrificially given to eliminate the debt on that building are all just tokens of our commitment to those truths and the belief that God is indeed working through us. May God continue to bless us as we live out  our mission together as the Park Avenue Church  Of Christ!
