TODD'S TAKE Good morning and welcome to our worship. Henriann and I are out of town this weekend as we attend a family wedding in Tennessee. Incidentally, our cousin, Katy Goodwyn, is marrying PACOC’s very own, Wilson Kirkbride. I have the distinct honor of officiating the ceremony. Thanks to Lantz for bringing us the Word this morning.
As we move into a New Year we will continue our tradition of observing Covenant Sunday—a day where we renew our commitment to the Lord and our commitment to our work in the kingdom through this church. Covenant Sunday 2022 will be January 23. Our theme is SERVE from Mark 10:45 where Jesus says, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
The leadership of PACOC continues to encourage every member to fully engage in their walk with the Lord. Our desire is for each of you to be closer to the Lord and enjoy the abundant life that Jesus promises and to be connected to the church body through group fellowship, Bible study, and service. We believe that God has placed all of us and this church in this time and space to advance the message of Jesus. Let’s pledge to faithfully carry out our individual and corporate missions.
To help us all stay connected let me encourage you, if you haven't already, to set up an account in our Church Management System. You should have received an email Friday with information. If you didn’t receive that email or if you need help, contact the church office and we can get you set up.
The church is grateful for all your financial assistance over the past year and encourage you to continue to be regular contributors to the work here at PACOC. If you’re not using our online giving platform, Tithely, I encourage you to look into that. Information is on the website or you can call the church office for information.
Glad you’re with us today!
