Sunday Morning Adult Bible Class
Bible class has returned to the Atrium on Sunday mornings at 9 AM.
Bridal Brunch
Join us in celebrating Katy Goodwyn, bride elect of Wilson Kirkbride on Saturday, October 30 at 10 AM in the Atrium. They are registered at Target, Amazon and Bed, Bath & Beyond.
Youth Ministry
Connect: will meet Sunday from 5:30 -7:30 PM in the Ark.
Front Porch Parenting
This morning we welcome David and Lisa Fraze to PACOC for our Front Porch Parenting seminar. David will be bringing us the message this morning and both he and Lisa will be with us after church to share with our parents some Biblical advice on parenting. You are welcome to stay for lunch in the Ark and the time together with the Frazes.
Volunteer Opportunities
We have several ministries needing volunteers, including college age ministry (CAM), Park Avenue Wednesday suppers (PAWS), teachers and assistants for children’s classes, those willing to give a ride to those with hospital/doctor appointments. Contact the church office if you can help and we will direct you to the ministry leader!

Rise Up Men's Conference - December 3 & 4
We are in a season that men need to rise up and hold fast to the teachings of Jesus Christ and stand together in the war that is taking place. Trunk 'n Treat
Join us on October 31 for hotdogs, games and more. To volunteer your trunk sign up on the church app or contact Rachel McClure. We are also accepting Candy Donations. Please place donations in the boxes in the man hallways by October 27.
Fortify Family Retreat
Mark your calendar for our family retreat on November 6-7 at Texoma Youth Camp in Pottsboro on Lake Texoma. The cost is $5 per person or $20 per family. Register on the church app.
Operation Christmas Child
Please return your filled shoebox by October 24. You can place your shoebox by the wall opposite the Welcome Centers in the main hallways.
Park Avenue Wednesday Supper - October 20
This coming Wednesday we are having Chicken/Beef Fajitas, Rice, Beans, & Chips. Taquitos for the kids and Banana Pudding for Dessert. Sign up on your communication card to let us know how many to prepare for.
Fifth Sunday Debt Reduction, Sunday, October 31
October 31 is our last Fifth Sunday of the year. The entire contribution will go to pay off the debt on the Ark. Our plan is to pay off the remaining debt by the end of 2021 and that Sunday’s contribution will go a long way towards that goal. The church has been so generous over the years as we have been able to reduce that loan from 25 years to less than 12 years saving us thousands of dollars in interest and allowing us to soon direct that money elsewhere. Please prayerfully consider your financial gift that Sunday.

We’ll take a break from the parables today as David Fraze brings us the message this morning. David and his wife Lisa both work for Lubbock Christian University, one of the colleges associated with the Churches of Christ. Those of you with high school kids, I'm sure the Frazes’ would be glad to get you in touch with LCU as you explore options for higher education. Christian education has been such a blessing in my life and my family’s life and I encourage you to consider one of our colleges.
We have several needs for volunteers in the various ministries we are involved in. If you’re looking for a place to serve, please contact the church office and we will put you in touch with a ministry leader.
