Sympathy’s

Our sympathy is with the family of Betty Clark after her passing last night. Services are pending at this time.

Our sympathy also goes out to Jeff Thompson after the passing of his mother, Vicki Thompson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 2 at 2:00pm.at Fisher Funeral Home. 

Our condolences are also with Andrew Cassady after the passing of his father, Ron Cassady. A private service is being held for the family.  A public event will be held at a later date.

 

Tonight

Join us tonight at 5:15 PM for our PAWS meal. We are having Lasagna, Green Beans, Chicken Nuggets, Salad Bar, & Dessert.  The meal will be prepared by The Hardy Team.

 

Christian Theater Workshop

Register now at pacoc.net/ctw for CTW camp that will run from July 13-17. Registration is open to students who have completed kindergarten through graduating seniors.

 

Senior Banquet

Everyone is invited to a banquet this coming Sunday, May 3, to honor our high school seniors in the Ark immediately after worship services. We will have baskets for each senior in the atrium that Sunday for cards and gifts.

 

National Day of Prayer

The Denison Ministerial Alliance invites you to join Christians from across our community for the National Day of Prayer Lunch at 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 7 at Parkside Baptist Church. This year's theme is "Glorify God Among the Nations — Seeking Him in All Generations." Come unite with fellow believers for a time of prayer and fellowship as we lift up our nation and our community together. All are welcome!

 

Sonshine Hour

We are looking for 4 to 6 volunteers (can be a couple) for Sonshine Hour during Bible class time on Sunday mornings. We need people who can teach 4 year olds through sixth grade and also folks that can assist with students to ensure that the students remain engaged. Lessons will be provided. Contact Becky Russell or Gary Calvert if you can help or for more details.  

 

Family Ministry

· Sunday, May 3—Senior Sunday: We have 9 High School Seniors this year: Seth Banks, Susannah Banks, Elizha Fernandez, Brady Harrelson, Henry Mullins, Aubrie Slaughter, Londyn Slaughter, Kayla Taisler, Alissa Thompson.
