Due to the inclement weather there will be no church activities tonight  including  no PAWS meal. 

 

Celebration of Marriage

If you were married in a year ending in a ‘1’ or a ‘6’ we would like to honor you during our worship service on Sunday, February 15. Please submit one wedding picture and one current picture to the church office or email Tyler at tyler@parkavenuechurch.com by no later than February 8.

 

Wednesday DMC’S

Community is at the heart of who we are at Park Avenue.  We encourage every member to join a Disciple  Making Community. Our new Wednesday DMC’s will begin next Wednesday,  February 4.  These small groups bring believers together for Bible study, where we can witness God’s Word transforming lives with fellow  Christians. Go to  pacoc.net/dmc to sign up for a group or call the church office and we will help you find the right DMC for you! 

 

Elder Selection

Elder nominations are currently  being accepted through this Sunday,  February 1. Current elders are automatically considered and do not require nomination. Before submitting a nomination, we encourage you to speak directly with the individual you wish to nominate. This conversation allows you to offer encouragement and confirm their willingness to serve in this vital leadership position. If you have any questions feel free to contact one of our current elders. Please join us in prayer throughout this important process.

 

“Developing Inner Beauty” Lunch

The Mary Martha Ladies Class invites our 5th-8th grade young ladies and their moms to a luncheon on Saturday,  February 28 at 12 noon in the Atrium. RSVP: 903-819-4950 by Feb. 15. 

 

Sweetheart Banquet

Anyone over 60 is invited to the  Sweetheart Banquet in the Ark after  worship on Sunday, February 8 for a meal prepared by our youth group. Sign up at pacoc.net/sweetheart or you can sign up on your communication card this Sunday.
