Fall Discipleship Community Options
Our new Wednesday DMC’s begin tonight, September 4th and our new Sunday morning classes begin this Sunday, September 8th. Every member is encouraged to be a part of a spiritual community as we all pursue a deeper relationship with God and others. New Sunday Morning Bible Class
There will be a new adult Bible class for younger adults this fall beginning this Sunday, September 8th from 9:00-9:45 in the Youth Suite. Greg Clay will be leading a study on 1 Peter.  There will be a class for children in the Ark during this time for those parents attending Bible class. The existing adult class will continue to meet in Room D.
 
Youth and adult volunteers are needed for the children’s class during this time. No experience is required. Contact Gary Calvert at 972-658-4970 if you can help.
 
Anyone interested in this adult class is invited for hamburgers and hotdogs this Saturday, September 7th from 4:00-7:00p.m. in the Ark to launch our new adult Bible class. Please RSVP to Shelly Calvert, Pam Clay, or Devry Smith and bring a side dish or dessert of your choice.
 
SAMPACC Game Night
Join the senior adult ministry on Monday, September 9th at 6:00 p.m. in the atrium for a game night.  Bring a finger food to share.
 
Man Alive
Men, join us on Saturday, September 14th in the ARK at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast, community and challenge.
 
Barnabas Food Drive
Our Thanksgiving Food Drive is underway and will run through Sunday, September 29th. This will assist the Barnabas Food Pantry as they prepare to hand out Thanksgiving boxes over the Thanksgiving holiday.  Tabs are available in the atrium – so go ahead and grab a tab or two to help us stock our pantry!  
 
Celebrate Recovery
Paul Waggoner will be leading a Celebrate Recovery Step Study for men on Thursday evenings at his home.  If you would like more information contact Paul at (903) 821-0113.
 
Rock the Ranch
Rock the Ranch in association with True Options pregnancy care presents The Invited Tour featuring Tenth Avenue North, with special guest, Natalie Layne, on Saturday, September 14 at Willowood Ranch, 3803 Ward Neal Road, Bells.  Tickets are $25 or $30 at the door.  Doors open at 4:00 p.m. for food trucks and family fun!  Bring a lawn chair and sunscreen.
 
Four Rivers Outreach Giving Banquet

Youth Ministry

  • Wed. September 4th: Dinner from 5:15-6:15. Youth room opens at 6pm. Our series on James starts at 6:30pm. 
  • Sun. September 8th: Connect from 5-7:30pm in the gym. Dinner will be provided. 
  • Mon. September 9th: High School Word Up at the Copes from 7-8:15pm. 
  • October 12-13th: Fall Retreat!
