Midweek Update, October 7, 2020

Updates on Reopening

  • The Mary Martha class has resumed in the atrium on Wednesday mornings at 10 AM.
  • Children’s Classes have resumed on Sunday mornings. Children will be dismissed before the sermon time around 10:45 AM and continue their class until 11:30 AM. 
  • Our in-person Adult Bible class has resumed in the atrium at 9 AM on Sunday mornings.
  •  We will continue our Early Morning Service at 8 AM in the Ark.

Operation Christmas Child
This Sunday, October 11 we will launch Operation Christmas Child. Students of Flight 56 will once again lead the congregation in this project. 
 
New Church Management System
Contact the church office if you need assistance accessing our new Church Management System.
 
Baby Shower
Join us for a baby shower honoring Melanie Truxal on Sunday, October 18 from 1:30-3 PM in the atrium. We are requesting everyone wear a mask.  Matt & Melanie are having a baby girl. They are  registered at Amazon, Pottery Barn Kids & Sandi’s Boutique in Kelly Square.
 
Trunk 'n Treat—Sunday, Oct. 25
We will need an abundance of candy for the Trunk 'n Treat! Please place donations of individually wrapped candy in the marked tub in the Atrium under the TV monitor by Oct. 18. To sign up to volunteer your trunk go to:  pacoc.com/trunkntreat

Youth Ministry

  • Wednesday Night October 7: Park Avenue Youth Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm in the Gym!
  • Sunday October 11: Park Avenue Youth Sunday Night from 5:30-7:30pm in the Gym!
  • Fall Retreat October 17-18: Last chance to sign-up this week! Talk to Tyler Asap! We will leave Park Avenue Saturday morning at 8:45am. Please arrive by 8:30am! Parents we will have a short meeting Wednesday October 14th at 7:30pm to go over last minute retreat details.
