Good Sunday to you and welcome to our worship.
 
Park Avenue has been so blessed over the years to have special servants leading many of the ministries of the church. These special servants are called Deacons (just a fancy word for “servant”) and serve in specially designated leadership roles. The New Testament lists qualifications for such men in 1 Timothy 3. A tradition here at PACOC is every three years to renew and appoint men as Deacons of the church. Next Sunday we will have a special time of recognition. Below is a list of the men who are being presented to the congregation along with their areas of service:
