Sympathy
Our sympathy is with Joyce Martin and her family after the passing of Dewey Martin on November 22nd.  Services were held last Wednesday. 
 
Rise Up Men’s Conference
Our men’s conference is this coming Friday night, December 6th. Join us for an evening of fellowship and encouragement. James Simmons will be our Speaker and Jabbari Jones will be returning to lead us in worship. Registration is now open at pacoc.net/riseup. NOTE: all students are free.
 
Women’s Christmas Party
Women of all ages are invited to our Christmas Party in the Ark tomorrow night, Monday, December 2nd from 6:00-7:30 PM. Childcare will be provided. Bring a $10 gift, a finger food, and a friend!
 
Kids Advent Activity
Pick up your kids’ advent activity in the ARK or from the glass tables in the atrium today! One per family please!
 
Comfort & Joy
On Wednesday, Dec. 18, Children's Ministry will host an activity for all ages from 6:30-7:30. "Comfort and Joy" will be an interactive celebration of the birth of Jesus told in story and songs. Please register online at pacoc.net/comfortandjoy because we will assign seating around tables to connect kids and their families with individuals, to create an intergenerational setting. The first 20 families that register will receive a DIY wooden Nativity set!
 
Nativity Live
Flight 56 and their families are invited to attend a live nativity at Georgetown Baptist Church on Saturday, December 14th. The church bus will leave at 5:30 and return at 8:00 p.m. RSVP to Rachel McClure by December 12th if you plan on going.
 
Toys for Tots
If your DMC is helping a family this Christmas and you would like to help with toys you can submit a request to the church office by no later than this Wednesday, December 4th.  We need the family name, age and gender of each child.
 
Park Avenue Wednesday Supper
Our paws meal this Wednesday, will be French Onion Chicken Casserole, Salad & Dessert.  The meal will be prepared by Shelly Calvert and her team.
 
Youth Ministry

  • Sunday Dec. 1st: Connect in the Gym from 5-7:30pm. Pizza for dinner.
  • Monday Dec. 2nd: High School Word-up from 7-8:15 at the Cope’s House.
  • Sunday Dec. 15th: Park Avenue Youth Christmas Party! More Details to come!
