Youth Ministry
Little Red Wagon
Kids, Daisy’s Little Red Wagon will be here on Sunday, March 24. So get your coin cans out and start filling them up! All the proceeds will go to our annual Grace Offering that funds our outreach ministries locally and worldwide.
Thank You
I would like to thank everyone for the prayers and words of encouragement that helped me through a difficult time. The beautiful card from the Mary Martha Class made my day. Thank you, Pamela Hendrickson
Celebrate Recovery
Joshua’s Crossing Celebrate Recovery has begun a new series of Step Studies on Monday evenings from 6:00—7:30 at 7201 FM-691 Denison, TX 75020. Classes will be open to new members through March. Childcare is available. Celebrate Recovery is based on the principles taught in the beatitudes and is a truly life changing experience. See Paul Waggoner, Kirk Pendergrass or contact Chelsey (903) 821-2294 for more information.
Family Promise
During the week March 3-9, we will host families in the Ark who are situationally homeless. This ministry helps them while they are working to secure a more permanent place to live. Volunteers are needed to help prepare meals. If you can help, please contact Pat Emery.
Prayer & Fasting
March 17-31 will be a two week period of prayer and fasting. This is a time where we lift up all the outreach efforts supported by our Grace Offering and seek God’s guidance for giving. We will have some guides available on March 10.
PAWS for a Cause
This Wednesday, February 28th at 5:15 PM we will have a PAWS for a Cause. In addition to dinner, we will have a Dessert Silent Auction, with all proceeds going towards camp/mission trip scholarships for Park Avenue Youth. Support our youth group by donating your favorite dessert to be included in the silent auction by signing up on the church app or contact Tyler.

TODD’S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our worship service. If you are a guest with us this morning we welcome you and invite you to join in with us as we honor our Creator and Savior.
With the mild weather we’ve been having for the last week or so, we are all anxiously looking forward to Spring. I’m not a gardener but I know many of you are, and I suppose it’s about that time for you to start thinking of what to plant and already anticipating enjoying those vegetables that will come along. My father had a small garden when I was young and I remember how excited he was when he’d bring in a pepper or a tomato or an eggplant. There was a feeling of joy and pride when his work showed results.
Today, we will be in John 15. Jesus talks about his disciples bearing fruit. He reminds them that their work and faithfulness will yield results and those results will bring the Father glory. Bearing fruit is a mark of a disciple of Jesus and, just like my father, this fruit will bring us joy.
We need to be reminded that our lives in Him are bringing about positive and wonderful results. We are bearing fruit and, in that, we find joy!
The Big Event
The City of Denison is hosting the first annual Big Event on Saturday, March 23. This is a community outreach event assisting Denison residents with outdoor projects such as painting fences, yard clean up, gardening, and small repairs. The city is calling for teams of volunteers to help with these projects and Park Avenue is putting one together. Call the church office or fill out our online form for more information. Let’s be a blessing to our community!
