Christian Theater Workshop
This week, the ARK came alive with over 140 kids and dozens of volunteers, all working together for CTW! the kids had fun rotations like games, crafts, songs, and Bible, and have practiced and prepared a musical about the story of Esther, "A Time to Stand."  Join us for the final performance this afternoon at 4 p.m.

PAWS Volunteers
Our Park Avenue Wednesday Suppers will start back on September 6.  We are in need of team leaders and volunteers to set up, clean up, and prepare food. You can volunteer on the app, on the website, or contact Shelly Calvert directly at (972) 989-7025.   

Back to School Community Prayer
There will be a Back to School Community Prayer on Sunday, August 6 at 6:00 PM at Heritage Park in downtown Denison for a time of community prayer and worship for our schools.  We will then disperse at 6:30 to the DISD campuses to offer specific prayer for that school. Make plans to join us as we lift up the schools in Denison.
 
Back to School Prayer
In addition to our community prayer event we will have our own annual Back to School Prayer on Wednesday, August 9th!  We will gather in the ARK at 6:30 PM to spend time in prayer and write letters of encouragement for our students, teachers, support staff and administrators who are beginning their school year throughout Texoma.  Make plans to join us.
 
Trip to Israel, 2024
Western Heights Church of Christ is trying to organize a 15 day trip to the Holy Land in Israel at the beginning of May 2024. The trip is being organized by Jerry Lawlis from Amarillo. He has led tours to Israel for the last 12 years. The cost will be approximately $5,500 per person from Newark, New Jersey. A commitment would be required sometime in September.
