TODD'S TAKE
Good morning. What a blessing it is to worship together as the body of Christ! Welcome to all our church family and to our guests.

Today I will begin a series of lessons from a small and neglected book of the Bible, Jude. It’s only 25 verses long but you will find a treasure of wisdom and encouragement as Jude calls us to be defenders of the faith. In his day, as in every age, there is a force working against us to change the message of the gospel and, when changes are made, the power of the gospel is lost. Jude isn’t the most popular book of the Bible, yet has an important message to believers in all times and in all places. Our faith is  a faith worth fighting for!

A couple of opportunities to serve our community have come across my desk recently. One for the True Options Pregnancy Center and another for the Homeless Empowerment Action Team. Contact me if for more information on either of these worthy efforts.

On behalf of all the people who will be impacted by last week’s Grace Offering, thank you for your outpouring of generosity as we have exceeded our goal of $156,100. Continue to pray for all of our outreach efforts and keep on the lookout for ways you can serve in answering the call of Jesus to GO!
