TODD'S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our worship. It is good to have everyone with us in person today and we are glad to have those of you who are joining us online. Especially glad to have our guests with us today.
This morning we will continue our journey through the book of Exodus. Last week we left off with Moses on the run in the land of Midian. In Midian he has taken a wife, had a child, and is working as a shepherd for his father-in-law Jethro. Seems like he’s settled in.
Today we will look at chapters 3 and 4. One day while tending the sheep in a remote area Moses notices something that catches his attention and his life will dramatically be changed. Highlights include: the burning bush; Moses is called to deliver the Hebrews from slavery; Moses objects and objects again; God reassures Moses with miraculous signs; God reveals his name to Moses; and Moses returns to Egypt. The story of Abraham’s family and the nation it has become enters a new phase as God’s promises are coming into focus!
Daisy’s Little Red Wagon will be making its annual appearance NEXT SUNDAY! Get those coins ready to fill up the wagon as we get off to a great start on our Grace Offering which will be Sunday, April 17.
Our Grace Offering financial goal is $154,200, all of which will go towards funding many of the outreach ministries of the Park Avenue Church, both locally and globally. This represents almost 8 times the amount of our regular weekly budget, so we ask that you give generously.
You’ll be receiving information this week with more information or go to pacoc.net/go Your generosity is making a difference in so many lives!
