TODD'S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our time of worship. A special welcome to our guests. Please scan the QR code below and complete a communication card so we can get to know you. In addition, you can submit prayer requests or any questions you might have about Park Avenue.
It’s hard to believe there are only two more Sundays after today left in 2021. These last two years have been unique for us at PACOC and, for that matter, every church.
After the 10-week shutdown in spring of 2020 we have slowly been building back up our in-person attendance at Sunday worship and our other public meetings. We are not back to pre-pandemic numbers but we have recently seen a noticeable increase. We continue to live-stream our services and are grateful for that means to provide our worship experience with those at home.
An unintended blessing of the pandemic was the need to update our online presence. In addition to live-streaming we have seen significant increases in our social media platforms. If you are not following us on Facebook and YouTube, please do so.
One thing we have learned is that the church is constantly adapting to the world around us. While never compromising the truth of God’s word, we continually look for new ways of communicating that truth.
Who knew a couple of decades ago what the church would look like going into 2022? And who knows what the future holds? We do know this—He will remain faithful and so must we regardless of pandemics, politics, and progress.
