TODD'S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our special time of worship. This morning in our sermon time we will take a look at a familiar passage—Ephesians 6:10-20, the Armor of God. Many of us are acquainted with Paul’s military metaphor of the Christian life, but we always need to be reminded that we are in a battle and we have a formidable foe. But thankfully our ally is stronger. Whatever spiritual battles you face today be reminded that God is greater and provides for us just what we need to overcome.
Today is a fifth Sunday and as we have done now for many years we will apply today’s offering to our debt on the Family Life Center, aka The Ark. So please, according to your ability, add some to your regular contribution so we can accelerate the payoff of the Ark. Thanks so much for your continued generosity.
Wednesday’s are back! Join us for PAWS at 5:15 and our many community options at 6:30. Sign up for a community online or fill out a registration form found on the table in the Atrium.
So glad you’re here!
Gospel Challenge
Next Sunday we will begin a new Sunday AM adult Bible class called the Gospel Challenge. We will spend the next year diving into the gospels. Using Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John we will take a chronological look at the life and ministry of Jesus.
Even if you are not able to attend class we encourage you to consider reading along as part of your daily time in the Word. Weekly readings will be posted on the church app and website for you to keep pace.
Spend the next 12 months with Jesus!
