Flight 56 swim night is this Sunday, August 15, from 5-7 PM at the Banks’ house.
 
Youth Ministry

  • Aug. 11: We will meet from 5:45-6:30 in the youth suite. Bring your own dinner and come hangout before the All-Church Prayer and Praise. 
  • Aug. 15: We will meet at the McAlister’s House (675 Yellowjacket Rd.) from 5:30-7:30PM. 
  • Aug. 18: We will meet from 5:45-6:30 in the youth suite. Bring your own dinner and come hangout before the All-Church Prayer and Praise. 
  • Aug. 22: Sunday Connect for all Park Avenue Youth begins for the Fall! 5:30-7:30PM in the Gym. 

Man Alive
Men, join us this Saturday, August 14 at 7:30AM for breakfast and hear from our guest speaker former Navy Seal Garrett Unclebach.
 
World Bible School Training Event
Come and find out what World Bible School is all about! Bill Colwell from WBS will be joining us at Park Avenue to provide training for those interested in volunteering with World Bible School. Join us on Saturday, August 21 from 10-12 in the Atrium to find out more about this ministry. 
 
Lady Jacket Breakfasts
Park Avenue will be hosting the Lady Jacket Breakfast starting on August 27th. This is a great chance to encourage and reach out to the female athletes at DHS. Volunteer on the app. to help cook and clean up.
 
Cook Off
Our ministers will bless us with an end of summer cookoff on Wednesday, August 25!  Join us at 6 PM in the courtyard for great food and fellowship. 
 
Welcome Back Wednesdays
Beginning on September 1, our Park Avenue Wednesday Suppers (PAWS) will be back in the Ark followed at 6:30 PM by several community options. 
 
Ladies Day
Ladies, make plans to join us for a day of joy-filled fellowship, teaching, worship, and laughter on Saturday, September 11.  You can register online. Tickets are $10 per person. Invite a friend, family member, neighbor, or co-worker to share this joyful and refreshing experience with us. We will be joined by speaker Becky Brooks, and Christian comedian and ventriloquist Lauren Lucille Vasser. Coffee will be provided from Revolution Coffee, and lunch will also be provided.
 
Back to Church Sunday
Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 19. The churches of Denison are planning a Back to Church Sunday calling everyone to connect or reconnect to a church involvement with the body of Christ. There will be a celebration at Forest Park from 4:30-6:00PM followed by a community worship at Munson Stadium from 6:00-7:00PM. For more information visit the website at denisoncomeback.com.
