Sympathy
Our sympathy is with J.D. & Celia Thomas after the passing of their son, Kyle Thomas, on May 20. A celebration of life will be held here tomorrow at Park Avenue Church.  Visitation is from 9AM-10 AM, with the memorial service immediately following.

Fifth Sunday
This Sunday, May 30, is a fifth Sunday. The contribution that day will go to offset the mortgage on the Family Life Center.
 
Items Needed
We are still collecting items for the orphanage in Casa de la Esperanza, Mexico. Deadline is June 27.
 
Church on the Lake
Join us next Wednesday, June 2 at 6 PM at Waterloo Lake Pavilion. We will provide the food and ask everyone to make a small donation to offset the cost of the food. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chair and enjoy a time of food and fellowship!
 
Youth Ministry

  • Thursday May 27: Park Avenue Youth come hangout in the youth suite from 12-3PM. Bring your own lunch. 
  • Sunday May 30: Park Avenue Youth will meet in the youth suite from 5:30-7:30PM. We will be welcoming our upcoming 7th graders! If you have an upcoming 7th grader please bring them Sunday! 
  • Camp OC Registrations: Register online under youth ministry: Zenith (High School) June 20-25, Cornerstone (Middle School) June 27-July 1.
  • Youth Mission Trip to Boles Children’s Home, June 6-12: Register online under youth ministry.

Parents we want your students to come to camp and mission trip with us this summer. Please do not let funds be a reason they can’t come. If you need a scholarship please talk to Tyler.

The Chosen
Beginning on Wednesday June 9 at 6:30 PM we will launch a summer-time watch party of The Chosen - an acclaimed series on the life of Christ. It will be a blessing to witness this together as a church.
