Sympathy's

Our sympathy is with Garland & Judith Nevil and their family after the passing of their son-in-law, Ronny Grubb, last Sunday. Services are pending at this time. 

Our sympathy is also with Kyle Fleming and his family after the passing of his father, Doyn Fleming, who passed away last night.

 

Tonight

Join us tonight for PAWS lite at 5:15 PM followed by Session Two of our classes on God's Economy in the Atrium or Room D at 6:30 PM. We are having Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Veggie Burgers, Salad Bar & Dessert. The meal will be prepared by Amyee McAlister and her team.

 

Memorial Service

A memorial service for Verzella Rainwater, mother of Rachel McClure will be held on Monday, September 21 at 10 AM also at Park Avenue Church.

 

Barnabas Food Drive

Our annual food drive is underway and will run through September 27.  Grab a tab or two in the Atrium and help fill our pantry for Thanksgiving.

 

Lady Jacket Breakfasts

We will be hosting 4 lady jacket breakfasts this year for the female athletes in the Denison school district.  The dates are September 25, October 8 & 23, November 6.  You can volunteer to cook, serve or clean up at pacoc.net/jackets

Join us for a baby shower to honor Cina Strickland and baby boy, Kiran in the Atrium this Sunday, September 20 from 1:30-3:00 PM. Registry is at babylist.com

You are invited to a wedding shower for Ryan Wilson & Megan Douglas in the Atrium on Sunday, October 4 from 1:00-2:30 PM.  They are registered at Amazon and Target.

A baby shower for Shelby Russell and baby Charlotte Mae will be held at the home of Kathy Pryor, 1310 W. Main Street, Denison on Sunday, October 11 from 1:30-3:00 PM.  Registered at Amazon. Search Charlotte Mae G.

 

Pressing On

We are in the midst of our 40 Days of Prayer & Fasting. It is not too late to sign up on the Prayer Calendar in the Atrium. We also have journals and devotionals still available. In addition, we have a Prayer Request Box for you to submit any prayer requests that you have. Those requests will be prayed over during our Prayer Vigil on Friday & Saturday, Oct. 2 & 3. You will be hearing more about the Prayer Vigil shortly. Don't forget to sign up in the Atrium for one of Informational Gatherings on either Saturday, September 19 or 26.
