Join us tonight for PAWS lite at 5:15 PM followed by Session One of our classes on God's Economy in the Atrium or Room D at 6:30 PM.  We are having Spaghetti & Meatballs, Green Beans, Garlic Bread, Salad Bar & Dessert.  The meal will be prepared by Amanda Johnson and her team.

 

Sympathy

Our sympathy is with David Kirkbride and his family after the passing of his mother, Donna Kirkbride, last Sunday.  Funeral services will be at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, Mississippi this Saturday, September 12.

 

Memorial Services

A service for Harold Armstrong, husband of Dorothy Armstrong and father of Kristy Beam, will be held at Park Avenue Church on Saturday, September 12 at 1:00 PM.

 

A memorial service for Verzella Rainwater, mother of Rachel McClure will be held on Monday, September 21 at 10 AM also at Park Avenue Church.

 

Barnabas Food Drive

Our annual food drive is underway and will run through September 27.  Grab a tab or two in the Atrium and help fill our pantry for Thanksgiving.

 

Parent & Church Commitment Sunday

This Sunday, September 13, during our worship service we will honor our families with new babies, and commit as a church body to assist them on their children's spiritual development.  Make plans to join us this Sunday for this special service.

Wedding Shower

You are invited to a wedding shower for Ryan Wilson & Megan Douglas in the Atrium on Sunday, October 4 from 1:00-2:30 PM.  They are registered at Amazon and Target.

 

Pressing On

We are in the midst of our 40 Days of Prayer & Fasting. It is not too late to sign up on the Prayer Calendar in the Atrium. We also have journals and devotionals still available.  In addition, we have a Prayer Request Box for you to submit any prayer requests that you have. Those requests will be prayed over during our Prayer Vigil on Friday & Saturday, Oct. 2 & 3. You will be hearing more about the Prayer Vigil shortly.  Don't forget to sign up in the Atrium for one of Informational Gatherings that begin this Sat., Sept.12.

 

Lady Jacket Breakfasts

We will be hosting 4 lady jacket breakfasts this year for the female athletes in the Denison school district.  The dates are September 25, October 8 & 23, November 6.  You can volunteer to cook, serve or clean up at pacoc.net/jackets

 

Ladies Day

Women of all ages and stages of life are invited to join us for a Ladies Day on Saturday, October 24 in the Family Life Center from 9:00 AM to 3:00PM.  Our theme will be Abide.  Come and be inspired by our speaker, LuAnn Nystrom, daughter of Kathy Sturch and the late Ernie Sturch.  We will enjoy coffee, lunch, and fellowship together.  Childcare ill be provided.  Register now at pacoc.net/ladies
