Comfort & Joy
Next Wednesday, December 18th Children's Ministry will host an activity for  all ages from 6:30-7:30. This will be an  interactive celebration of the birth of Jesus told in story and songs. Please register online at pacoc.net/comfortandjoy because we will assign seating around tables to connect kids and their families with individuals, to create an intergenerational setting. Please note that there will be NO DMC’s and NO PAWS that evening.
 
Nativity Live
Flight 56 is invited to attend a live nativity at Georgetown Baptist Church this Saturday, December 14th. The church bus will leave at 5:30 and return at 8:00 p.m. RSVP to Rachel McClure by December 12th if you plan on going.
 
Waples Live Nativity
Waples United Methodist Church will be presenting a live nativity on Sunday, December 15th from 5:30-7:30 PM.
 
Women’s Retreat, April 25-27
Registration is now open for our annual Ladies Retreat at the Prothro Center on Lake Texoma. Becky Brooks will be returning as our speaker. The cost is $125 for overnight retreaters and $75 for day only retreaters. You can register at pacoc.net/ladies
 
Blue Christmas
Waples United Methodist Church will have a service of hope on Tuesday, December 17th at 6:00 PM. This is a more reflective service for those who have lost a loved one.
 
Youth Ministry

  • Wednesday, December 11th: Come for dinner from 5:15-6:15pm. Youth Room opens at 6pm and class starts at 6:30pm!
  • Sunday, December 15th: Park Avenue Youth Christmas Party from 5-8pm in the youth Suite/gym. Bring a $10 gift for our gift exchange game.
  • Wednesday, December 18th Comfort and Joy! We will join the Children’s ministry from 6:30-7:30pm. We will not have Dinner or class.
  • Sunday, December 22nd: Park Avenue Youth will still meet from 5:30-7:30pm in the Gym.
  • January 17th-19th: Winterfest 2025! It is open for all 7th-12th grade students. Sign up online!
