Women’s Retreat
Women of all ages will gather together for their annual retreat on April 26-28th at the Prothro Center on Lake Texoma.  We are excited to share this time of fellowship and spiritual growth. Nika Maples will be our speaker this year. The theme will be “Transformed.” You can register online.  The cost is $125 for overnight retreaters and $75 for day-only retreaters.
 
Celebrate Recovery
Joshua’s Crossing Celebrate Recovery recently began a new series of Step Studies on Monday nights from 6:00-7:30 at 7201 FM-691 Denison, TX 75020. Childcare is available.  Classes will be open to new members through March. Celebrate Recovery is based on the principles taught in the beatitudes and is a truly life changing experience. Little Red Wagon
Kids, Daisy’s Little Red Wagon will be here on Sunday, March 24. So get your coin cans out and start filling them up.  All the proceeds will go to our annual Grace Offering that funds our outreach ministries locally and worldwide. 
 
Prayer & Fasting
March 17-31 will be a two week period of prayer and fasting. This is a time where we lift up all the outreach efforts supported by our Grace Offering and seek God’s guidance for giving.  We will have some resources available this Sunday, March 10, to help us prepare for this special time.  
 
CRASE Training
The Denison police department will be conducting the CRASE (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Event) training here at the church building from 8:30-12 noon on Saturday, April 6. All church members who wish to attend the training are welcome.  If you plan to attend, please text Jim Russell at 903-815-8956. 
 
The Big Event
On Saturday, March 23 Denison is having a city-wide community day of service.  This is open to women and men. Sign up on the form on the church app.  We will require your signature on our group waiver, so please come by the church office to sign our waiver.  If you have any questions contact Todd.   
 
Youth Ministry

  • Wednesday, March 6th: Come for dinner from 5:15-6:15pm. Our Genesis Series continues at 6:30pm.
  • Sunday, March 10th: We will not have regular Connect but instead have youth group at the Cope’s house from 12-2pm. We will have lunch, time of worship, Bible study, and games.
  • Tuesday, March 12th: Park Ave Youth Service Day! We will meet at Park Ave at 9:30am and we will finish at 1pm. Bring lunch money.
