PAWS for a Cause
Today we will have our PAWS for a Cause meal at 5:15 PM. In addition to dinner, we will have a Dessert Silent Auction, with all proceeds going towards camp/mission trip scholarships for Park Avenue Youth. The main meal will be Chicken Spaghetti, Green Beans, Garlic Toast, Salad & Desserts.
 
Women’s Retreat
Women of all ages will gather together for their annual retreat on April 26-28th at the Prothro Center on Lake Texoma.  We are excited to share this time of fellowship and spiritual growth. Nika Maples will be our speaker this year. The theme will be “Transformed.” You can register online.  Members of the retreat committee will be available again this Sunday in the atrium after worship to answer any questions you may have. The cost is $125 for overnight retreaters and $75 for day-only retreaters.
 
Celebrate Recovery
Joshua’s Crossing Celebrate Recovery  recently began a new series of Step Studies on Monday nights from 6:00-7:30 at 7201 FM-691 Denison, TX 75020. Childcare is available.  Classes will be open to new members through March. Celebrate Recovery is based on the principles taught in the beatitudes and is a truly life changing experience. Little Red Wagon
Kids, Daisy’s Little Red Wagon will be here on Sunday, March 24. So get your coin cans out and start filling them up.  All the proceeds will go to our annual Grace Offering that funds our outreach ministries locally and worldwide. 
 
Prayer & Fasting
March 17-31 will be a two week period of prayer and fasting. This is a time where we lift up all the outreach efforts supported by our Grace Offering and seek God’s guidance for giving.  We will have some guides available on March 10. 
 
The Big Event
On Saturday, March 23 Denison is having a city-wide community day of service.  This is open to women and men. Sign up on the form on the church app.  We will require your signature on our group waiver, so please come by the church office to sign our waiver.  If you have any questions, contact Todd.   
 
Youth Ministry

  • Wednesday, February 28: PAWS for a Cause! Students and parents come around 5 to help serve! 
  • Saturday, March 2: Game night at Western Heights at 6pm
  • Sunday, March 3: Connect from 5-7:30! 
  • Tuesday, March 12: Service Day from 9:30-1pm. 
  • Thursday, March 14: Fun Day! More details to come.
