Park Avenue Wednesday Supper

Our PAWS meal is back tonight at 5:15PM. Join us for a meal followed by several DMC options. 
 
Mary Martha Class
The Mary Martha Ladies’ Class will resume meeting Wednesday, January 10, at 10 AM in the Atrium. Ladies of all ages are invited to attend and participate in Bible study, community outreach projects, and fellowship.
 
Sunday 9 AM Bible Class
Bible class is back in Room D starting this Sunday, January 7. Todd will be leading the class entitled “10 Dumb Things Smart Christians Believe.” We will look at some beliefs that are assumed by millions but may not be true at all! Join us as we look at these widely accepted myths that can distort and confuse our beliefs about God and Scripture.
 
Youth Ministry

  • January 3rd: Come for dinner from 5:15-6:15pm! Youth room opens at 6pm and our new series on spiritual disciplines starts at 6:30pm.
  • January 7th: Connect is back for the New Year! From 5-7:30pm in the Gym. Dinner will be Mexican food.
  • January 7th: Parents and Students Meeting at 5pm. The first part of Connect we will have our meeting and dinner together.
  • January 12th-14th: Winterfest in Ft. Worth! Sign-up online ASAP!

 

Bible Class Teachers & Assistants Needed for Wednesday Nights
Teachers and assistants are needed for all children's classes for March, April, and May. Materials and mentor guidance is provided to support and encourage those who are willing to share the Good News with children! They are close to the heart of Jesus! Attention Women of All Ages!
We are so excited for the New Year to begin! Grab your new book Everyday Genesis by Nika Maples before our first meeting, this evening between 6:30-7:30 PM.  We will begin a 15 week study with discussion questions provided by Nika! This study will lead us right up to the women’s retreat where Nika will help us dig deeper and grow closer spiritually as sisters. All of the women’s classes will be studying the same material but can continue to meet with their own age group! If you want to step into another class…feel free! There will be a Zoom option on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM for those who are unable to make it on Wednesday nights. For anyone interested in the Zoom option, please contact the church office for the link. Any age, any stage, we will all be on the same page inviting God to re-create us!

Man Alive
Men, join us for breakfast, community and challenge in the Ark on Saturday, January 13th at 8:00 AM. 
 
Covenant Sunday
Our Covenant Sunday this year will be on Sunday, January 21st.  Our theme this year is Peace.  Make plans to join us for this special time of worship and recommitment to the Lord.
