T’was The Night Before Christmas
Tonight, many of our 1st-6th graders will be performing a Christmas play on stage in the Ark at 7:00 p.m.  Make plans to join us for this 30 minute performance!

There will be no PAWS meal tonight.  PAWS will take a break over the holiday period and will resume on January 3rd. Please note that some classes/DMC’s will either dismiss completely or dismiss early to watch the kid’s play. Please check with your group leader to see if your group is meeting. The ladies (Lydia’s Class) that meet in Room C will not meet,
 
Blue Christmas
Waples United Methodist Church will host a service of  hope for the holidays again this year on Thursday, December 21st at 6:00 p.m. This will be a quiet reflective service focusing on the comfort and light God offers us in dark and difficult times.
 
Christmas Candlelight Service
Join us on Christmas Eve for our traditional candlelight service at 6 p.m.
 
Sunday Morning Bible Class
The Christmas Experience is a video portrayal of the birth of Jesus that examines the Christmas story in detail. Each episode will focus on how God chose each individual in the Christmas story for a specific purpose. This is appropriate for all adults and school aged children. Join us the next two Sunday mornings in December from 9:00-9:45 in the youth suite of the Ark for this special time.
 
No Sunday Morning Kid’s Classes
Please note that there will be no children’s classes on Sunday, December 24 & 31st. Kids can pick up an activity and return to sit with their family during worship.
 
Youth Ministry

  • Wednesday, Dec. 20th: No Dinner tonight. Youth Room opens at 6pm, class starts at 6:30pm, and we will watch the Children’s Play at 7pm.
  • December 24th, 27th, & 31st:  No youth group meetings.   
  • January 12th-14th: Winterfest in Ft. Worth. Get signed up online!
