Rise Up 2024 - Mighty Men

We are in a season that men need to rise up and hold fast to the teachings of Jesus Christ and his kingdom. Mark your calendars now for the Rise Up Men's Conference on December 6th. Our speaker will be James Simmons and worship will be lead by Jabbarri Jones. Registration will kick off on October 15th. 

OUR SPEAKER: James Simmons

James grew up in Tulsa Oklahoma with deep connections to Contact Mission Church of Christ; an intercity ministry found in West Tulsa. After serving as Youth Minister and Young Adult Minister at the Park Church of Christ for nearly a decade, James came back to Contact Mission to preach the Good News and lead the staff and congregation as the Lead Pulpit Minister. 

James also serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor, with his own private practice. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University in 2010. Later, earned his Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University. He has a Masters of Theology and Culture from Oklahoma Christian University. He has completed the advanced worship leaders training from the Keith Lancaster Worship Leaders Institute. 

James and his wife, Kaytie Jo Simmons have been married since 2015. There relationship started in 2010 and has a rich history and testimony. 

James enjoys getting to know people on a deep level. His hobbies are to listen to different types of music, reading, watching movies and spending time with his wife, Kaytie, daughter Jaida and son Jireh.
